Mark your calendars for the 7th Annual Heritage Festival on July 17, 2015! Enjoy a day filled with art, history, music, history, shopping and food in Maple Creek’s historic downtown from 8:00am – 5:00pm. Stick around and see the rodeo parade as it comes through the Heritage District at 5:00pm!

8:00am – 9:30am – Cowtown Pro Rodeo Pancake Breakfast ~ C.M. Glascock Building
8:30am – Farmer’s Market ~ Land of Living Skies Park
10:00am– Sidewalk sales & street vendors, art & cultural displays, artisan tent, open houses at museums, library buck-a-book sale, children’s fun zone and more!
10:00am – 7:00pm – First Annual Maple Creek Expo ~ Old Field`s Store
11:30am – Opening Ceremony ~ Post Office
– 2015 Centenarians and Century Farm/Ranch Award recipients recognized.
-Business heritage decorating contest winners announced
– Pow wow dancing demonstration and tipi raising
Noon – Lunch at local restaurants and Anglican Church
1:00pm – 4:00pm – Musical entertainment, horse drawn wagon rides, street theatre, cultural displays & demonstrations, children’s games, and other heritage themed activities!
2:00pm – Fort Walsh National Historic Site performance: “Whiskey!” at C.M. Glascock Building
3:00pm – Wheel Barrow Races ~ 200 block of Jasper Street
4:00pm – Maple Creek guided historic walking tour ~ Visitor Centre
5:00pm – Cowtown Rodeo Parade ~ Jasper Street
6:00pm – Supper at local restaurants and rodeo food booth
7:00pm – Pro Rodeo Performance ~ Agricultural Grounds
10:00pm – Rodeo Dance ~ Beer gardens at Agricultural Grounds
