The Men In Dance Festival is a one-time series of performances and dance encounters for the whole community. This is a unique opportunity to experience a rich mix of dance, visual art, music and performance art. Dance forms range from contemporary dance to pow wow, circus, Mexican folk, and tap. While some of the works address questions of gender, the Festival embraces dance of all sorts, from many cultural and social perspectives. The Festival has 16 different performance works for your enjoyment, enriched by participatory creations, discussions, and receptions. For those inspired to move, there are free dance classes open to all levels, taught by the artists.
