Golfing in Saskatchewan
We are very excited to announce that this summer, Prairies North will be supporting three Golf Saskatchewan Championship events across the province:
July 14-16, 2014: 2014 Saskatchewan Junior Men's & Women's Championships
Nipawin Evergreen Golf Course, Nipawin, SK
July 21-24, 2013: 103rd Amateur Men's Championship
Cooke Municipal Golf Course, Prince Albert, SK
July 28-30, 2014: 2014 Saskatchewan Senior Men's Championship
Elk Ridge Resort, Waskesiu Lake, SK
August 19, 2014 - The Legends Junior Open
The Legends Golf Course, Warman, SK
In addition to our support of these events, we will also be publishing a Golf Section in the Summer 2014 issue of Prairies North, which will include the benefits of learning and enjoying the game, as well as a profile on one of the most prolific golf designers of all time, Stanley Thompson. The highlight of this section will be the most comprehensive Saskatchewan directory of golf courses, along with contact information for each of the courses, ensuring that readers across the province will feel their city or town is represented in our magazine.
Not only will advertising in Prairies North get you in the hands of over 11,000 subscribers, but we will also be distributing up to 2,000 copies of the magazine at the golf events we are supporting, which means that your business will be introduced to a brand new audience. Our attendance at these events will also create awareness of our magazine and its advertisers, and build on our existing loyal audience by providing attendees with the opportunity to meet us in person.
As the leading magazine for and about Saskatchewan, Prairies North has developed a trusted relationship with our readers, who view our brand as their source for all things Saskatchewan. As Magazines Canada states, “Reader trust, along with commitment, appear to be the two fundamental psychological drivers which produce advertising response both in terms of perceived reader relevance of advertising and ultimately purchasing of advertised brands”. Our readers' trust means they view the editorial and advertising in Prairies North as a whole, and act on what they see published, whether that is through buying products or attending sponsored events, because they know that we are offering them an incredible overall experience.
